TRIVACO field technicians repair valves, tanks, and piping inside operating plants across Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Georgia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, and Alabama. We test in line, seal leaks under pressure, calibrate new equipment at startup, and rebuild valves without pulling them when the job allows it. When a valve does have to come out, it goes to one of TRIVACO’s own certified shops.
Certifications and Factory Authorizations
TRIVACO holds National Board VR Certificates, the ASME V and UV stamps, and the National Board NB Stamp for Registration and Capacity Certification. Our Canton, GA, Hebron, KY, and Indianapolis shops hold Baker Hughes Masoneilan Authorized Repair Center status. That range lets us handle most valve work in house, documentation included.

On-Site Repair for Any Valve in Your Plant
We work on any valve type, from any manufacturer: gate, globe, ball, butterfly, plug, check, diaphragm, knife gate, control, and relief.
Our crews arrive with the tooling to disassemble, measure, lap, and reset a valve at the unit. The mobile VR trailer and lift assist mean most in-line work happens without a crane rental on your job cost. Documentation follows the same standard as bench work, so an in-line repair gives your inspector the same record a shop repair would.
If your facility runs safety relief valves, our National Board VR program covers SRV repair and set pressure verification in the shop and in the field.
Startup and Calibration on New Equipment
TRIVACO handles startup on pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic actuation, including Foundation Fieldbus and other communication protocols. Our technicians set stroke, verify positioner response, and document the as-left condition of every unit they touch.
Calibration covers positioners and instrumentation. We calibrate to your control system, confirm signal response across the full range, and leave you with documentation your reliability group can file. That work is performed by TRIVACO technicians, so startup and calibration stay on a single visit and a single work order.
We calibrate equipment from any manufacturer, whether or not TRIVACO supplied it.
Leak Repair While the Line Stays in Service
Tank and Pipe Repair
TRIVACO repairs tanks and piping on site, in steel as well as FRP. Our fiberglass division works to B31.3 standards and holds ASME PCC-2 certification.
Pipe repair
We repair carbon steel, stainless, FRP, and lined pipe using composite wrap systems from InduMar and Advanced FRP Systems, engineered line by line. A repair can stop at a corrosion barrier over sound wall or seal an active leak while the line stays in service. Where wall loss has gone far enough that the pipe no longer carries its own load, we build a structurally independent composite pipe over the existing one. Repairs hold up to 350°F, with no fixed pressure ceiling, since the laminate is built to meet the line’s design pressure.
Tank repair
Carbon fiber and composite patch repairs return steel and FRP vessels thinned by corrosion or erosion, and specialty coatings from the same product line cover immersion and high-wear service. Nearly all of it happens with the asset in place, keeping your outage windows short.
What is a Carbon Fiber Composite?
A carbon fiber composite is a combination of a fiber-reinforced reinforcing fabric and a polymer binder, such as vinyl ester or epoxy resin. The result is a composite material that has higher performance properties than either of the individual materials alone. The high-strength fabric provides the tensile strength of the final composite, whereas the polymeric binder creates a good bond with the surface and gives it structural and dimensional stability.
A structural repair using a carbon fiber component creates a stronger, lighter, and more durable alternative when compared with traditional materials like metal, concrete, wood, or fiberglass.
Actuator Retrofits and Valve Automation
Valves and dampers routinely outlast the actuators mounted on them. TRIVACO designs and installs the replacement package on your existing body, including mounting hardware, positioners, and controls. You keep the valve. You get current actuation and a device your DCS can talk to.
We build these packages around EIM, Kinetrol, Topworx, VRC, KOEI, and Power Drives equipment, matched to your service conditions.
Send It In When It Has to Come Out
Valves that need to come out route to our shops in Hebron, Canton, or Indianapolis, where they get incoming inspection, dimensional measurement against OEM specification, machining or trim replacement, reassembly with OEM parts, and testing on calibrated equipment.
Valves pulled for replacement often measure within spec once we get them apart. Our evaluation draws on 55+ years of industrial valve experience, and most of them end in a repair instead of a replacement. Where a new unit makes better sense, however, we size and quote it from our own product lines.

Often, yes. InduMar leak repair systems seal flanges, valve bodies, and piping while the line stays pressurized, which lets you schedule the permanent repair for a planned outage.
