Sizing Calculator Procedures:
  1. Choose the desired fluid using the drop box or define your own fluid by clicking on the NEW FLUID button.
  2. Input your process conditions in the desired units.
  3. You can optionally calculate the CV corresponding to your process conditions by clicking the CALCULATE Cv button. The calculated value will be displayed in the Process CV box.
  4. Select your Valve Selection option. If the top radio button is checked, all valves above the calculated process Cv will be displayed in the results. If the bottom radio button is checked, all the valves above the value typed in the adjacent textbox will be displayed (you can use this option to browse the valve database without inputting any process conditions).
  5. Select the piping condition. If everything is left unknown, all the piping conditions will be displayed in the sizing results.
  6. Press CALCULATE to display all the suitable valves for your application.
